Biography

Beverley was born in North Yorkshire in 1967. She studied at The University of Newcastle upon Tyne where in 1989 she was awarded a B.A.Hons in Fine Art; in this year she won the Bartlett Travel scholarship which enabled her to study and travel extensively throughout Australia; this culminated in an exhibition of her paintings at Queensland House, in London. In 1991 she gained her M.A. in Fine Art from Newcastle University. She now lives in the Yorkshire Dales, where she is Head Of Art at Skipton Girls’ High School; she continues to paint and show her work.
